In recent years, ASD has gained prominence thanks to a more precise definition and a better understanding of this important neurodevelopmental disorder. Despite these advances, there are still many areas of knowledge to explore, especially regarding the interaction between ASD and other developmental disorders, such as personality disorders in general, and BPD in particular.
