When the system collapses: understanding and regulating BPD

This training aims to deepen the understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder from a clinical and applied perspective. The GPM model will be explored as a framework to understand the disorganization of the emotional system in BPD and its impact on interpersonal functioning.
The concept of the window of tolerance will also be addressed, distinguishing between states of hyperarousal and hypoarousal and their expression in clinical practice.
Based on this, intervention strategies aimed at helping the system return to its optimal range will be discussed, creating a space for clinical reflection based on case discussion and shared professional experience.
