In November 2024, the Board of Directors of Grup-TLP Barcelona was renewed, marking the beginning of a new chapter aimed at fostering collaborative synergies and advancing knowledge, research, and treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
As part of this renewal, Alfons Icart, psychologist and psychoanalyst, steps down from the presidency and will continue to contribute as a board member. Grup-TLP wishes to express its deepest gratitude for his valuable work and leadership during this stage, where he has been a key figure in the consolidation and growth of this alliance dedicated to the care and treatment of BPD.
The new president is Dr. Joan Vegué, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and Medical Director of CPB-Serveis Salut Mental. He is joined by Dr. Marc Ferrer, psychiatrist and Head of the BPD Program at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, as Vice President,
along with Dr. Teresa Ribalta, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and General Director of Fundació Orienta. This new leadership team reflects the group’s broad-based commitment to care quality, training, and innovation.
The Board of Directors is completed by a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals with well-established careers. The board members of Grup-TLP Barcelona are:
